European Weapons Icon Pack

Pixel-art icons for historical european weapons. The icons was designed to look as close to real historical weapons as possible.

The asset includes icons for different types of weapons such as swords, polearms, maces, axes, daggers, flails, bows and crossbows with arrows, flintlock weapons. Each icon is 48x48 pixels and has a transparent background. 54 icons in total.

• Swords: arming sword, bastard sword (hand and a half sword), longsword, greatsword, zweihander, flamberge, estoc, falchion, messer, scimitar (not exacrly european tho), rapier, claymore
• Daggers: dagger, rondel dagger, throwing dagger, panzerbrecher, stiletto, swordbreaker
• Polearms: spear, throwing spear (javeline), glaive, billhook, halberd, poleaxe (pollaxe), crow's beak (bec de corbin)
• Axes: hand axe, battleaxe, throwing axe, long axe (dane axe)
• Maces/Hammers: club, light mace, mace, morningstar, warhammer
• Staffs: quarterstaff
• Flails: flail, chain mace, chain morningstar
• Bows: arrow, short bow, longbow, recurve bow
• Crossbows: bolt, light crossbow, crossbow, heavy crossbow
• Flintlocks: pistol, musket
• Fancy stuff: bollock dagger (yes, this is a thing), rapier ornamented with gold, longsword with golden handle, longsword with gems, scimitar (sabre) with golden handle, scimitar ornamented with gold

All art pieces are presented as a tilesheet (rows and columns as in list above) and as separate png files with corresponding names and folders.

Asset includes steel-like frame which can be used in your UI to frame this icons. Also there is blank background which repeats frame borders, it has white colour so you can adjust it in your engine.

Updates

17.05.2021 - added 3 bows, 3 crossbows and a quarterstaff.

17.05.2021 - added throwing dagger and post-medieval weapons: rapier, stiletto, swordbreaker (dagger), flintlock pistol and musket. All icons are now gathered to one tilesheet (separate files are still here). Added icon frame for UI.

18.05.2021 - added claymore and 3 types of flails. Added some fancy stuff: bollock dagger (they existed, yes), rapier with golden handle, sword with golden handle and sword with gems, sabre with golden handle and ornamented with gold sabre. Added silver frame, golden frame and frame with gems.
