Run for Supplies is a simple economic strategy game where you play as an interplanetary expedition captain. You must expand borders of the empire and decide how newly acquired planets will bring benefits to it.

The game was originally created for the GMTK Game Jam 2021.

Expand

Direct your ship to unknown worlds and grab them and their resources to your hands.

Build

Build structures on newly acquired planets to gain income and increase population.

Upgrade

Upgrade your ship and general infrastructure to open new possibilities and strategic advantages before yourself.

Plan

Plan your moves few steps ahead. Try to not overexpand and save precious resources.

State of the game

Current version (0.2.9 alpha)

• 4 difficulty levels
• 8 planet types with different resources and available srtuctures
• Over 30 different structures to build
• 5 ship upgrades and 3 general upgrades
• Random langing events on unknown planets (still in development)
• Random alien threats
• Basic tutorial
• English and Russian languages

Known issues

• Balance is not really good right now (game can be really hard)
• Planets generation is sometimes weird
• Bad UI readability in some situations and menus
• Few bugs
• English texts have some errors and typos (and I need help with locating them)
